Gerry M. Brown

Born in Dallas, Gerry Brown moved around the county with his family. The moves, which followed his father’s employment, took them from places as varied as Lake Placid, New York, to El Paso, Texas. After graduating from Coronado High School in El Paso, Texas, he attended Texas A&M University where he received his B.A. in Psychology in 1996. During his time at Texas A&M, Gerry was an active member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets and served as President of his Junior and Senior classes.
Gerry attended St. Mary’s University School of Law and earned his J.D. in 1999. After fulfilling his commission in the United States Army, he began practicing law in El Paso, Texas where he specialized in Real Estate Law. Gerry then returned to College Station where he expanded his areas of legal practice to include Corporate Law, Banking Law, Estate Planning, and Probate. He is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the Brazos County Bar Association, and is board certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Community involvement has always been a priority to Gerry, and he generously donates his time to a number of different local organizations. He has served as the President of the Brazos County A&M Club, the Bryan/College Station Chapter of the March of Dimes, and the Texas A&M Quarterback Club. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce and is a member of The Texas A&M Corps Development Council, the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Association, and the Aggieland Rotary Club. Gerry, his wife Monica, and their three boys are active members of the A&M Church of Christ.
Paul W. Murphy

Paul W. Murphy was raised in Bryan, Texas. After graduating from Bryan High School, Paul joined the United States Air Force where he took a special duty assignment as a member of the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington, D.C. His military career then took him to Abilene, Texas where he was a member of the USAF 7th Security Police Squadron. During his time in Abilene, he attended McMurry University and received his B.A. in Political Science in 1997.
Mr. Murphy moved to Houston, Texas in 1997 to attend the South Texas College of Law where he earned his J.D. in 2000. While in school, Paul was an active member of the Board of Advocates. His passion for advocacy resulted in his selection to the South Texas Mock Trial and Moot Court Teams where he competed at the national level. He began practicing law in Austin, Texas where he practiced General Civil Law with a concentration on Civil Trial Law. Paul then moved home to Bryan, Texas in 2002 and has been expanding his civil litigation practice ever since, gaining extensive experience both in and out of the courtroom. He is a Board Certified Personal Injury Trial Attorney and an Appointed Member of the District 8A Grievance Committee for the State Bar of Texas.
